Cow In The Kitchen
A cow in the kitchen, what a sight to see,
Standing there calmly, as if it’s meant to be.
Her big brown eyes looking around,
As if she’s exploring new ground.
Pots and pans on the stove, scattered about,
The cow sniffs around, without any doubt.
Perhaps looking for a treat to eat,
Or maybe just wanting a cozy retreat.
But the kitchen is not the place for her,
No matter how gentle and docile she purr.
She belongs in the fields, grazing on grass,
Not inside a house, where it’s cramped and crass.
So shoo her away, with a gentle nudge,
And watch her trot off, without any grudge.
For the cow belongs in her natural space,
A reminder to us, to respect each creature’s place.
