You will absolutely love how quick and easy it is to make your own custom customer receipt pads for your next arts & crafts fair. It adds that special touch that helps you connect with your customers and they will have their receipt with all your custom info on it to locate you after the event. Better yet, they can share that info with their friends when they are showing off your product and the friend wants to know where they can get one.

I have created 2 templates for you to download. The first one has the crow and star image on it and the second one is blank so that you can insert your own image into it.
This is a word document template so you will need Microsoft Word in order to open it and customize your receipt to save and print. I have already set the parameters to print out on to 4×6 page size. You can print on to 4×6 blank index cards or 4×6 paper. I purchased the cheap blank index cards and they work perfect for my needs. They are like a very lightweight card stock paper. You can use your own fonts that you have on your computer to add that special touch to your receipts. I used Times New Roman to create the template since all computers have that font already installed. If you have a logo you can also add it to your receipt by inserting the image in to the template.
If you are using the blank template and wish to add your own unique image to your receipt you can find some gorgeous graphics at Creative Market. You can also adjust your search to the price limit you’d like to browse. I admit my favorite range is the $2-$4 range. I guarantee you’ll find the perfect image for your shop there.

Once you are done customizing your receipt save the file so it will keep all the information that you added. Save it as a word doc and also as a PDF.
Open Your saved PDF file to print these on to your 4×6 blank index cards.
When you go to print this a pop up box will appear and you will need to set your printer paper size to 4×6
You can open the PDF in Adobe Reader (free version) and set your printer settings to 4×6 paper size and chose print “actual size” and it will print out the correct size.
The printable template with the crow and star also has an image of the words “Thank You!” that you can delete off the receipt if you don’t wish to have it displayed. The “Special Notes” section is the ideal space to offer a discount, coupon code, or special information that you would like your customer to know. This is a great way to reward your customer for making a repeat purchase in the future.
There are literally hundreds of video tutorials on how to make your own pads so I’m not going to reinvent the wheel by creating a video of my own. I’ve chosen my favorite “how to” video and embedded it below for your viewing pleasure. It’s a quick tutorial that gets right to the “how to” aspect of making your own pad.
